Oprah had a show on transgender kids.

I didn’t see it, heard it was incredible. The kids weren’t adolescents but young kids, like 4, 9 and 11. A couple of them have parents who were supporting them living as the gender they feel they are.

I personally know one transman whose mother opened up to his identity after seeing the show in a way she hadn’t before. It was a powerful, healing show for his family.

A therapist was on the show was also really supportive of the kids.  I remember when Oprah was not even positive about gay and lesbian people, and now she’s out there helping spread a liberation message regarding gender. Go Oprah.
