There are some truly crap-tastic products out there for women to “improve” their genitals. Today I saw an ad for a rub-on cream that will tighten up a loose vagina.  It’s called “Virgin-Again.” And it ain’t cheap.

First off, I’m sure it doesn’t work. And secondly, virginity is much overrated. And a slippery term to begin with. Is it a state of mind, or a state of hymen? A girl whose hymen tears in gymnastics class is a virgin, but is a dyke who has had lots of sex but whose hymen is mostly intact? I don’t think so. So it’s a state of mind.

Remember when Princess-to-be Di had to get her virginity medically confirmed? Virginity is all about men- either ensuring that any babies made are theirs, or just to get an ego stroke from being the first.

For a lot of people with vaginas, that first fuck is more pain than pleasure. And most of us get a lot better at sex through experience. So what’s so great about being a virgin? All it is is a state of inexperience.

If you want to tighten up, do some Kegels. Stronger PC muscles won’t just make a snugger fit for your man, but they’ll make your own orgasms be stronger. As for being a virgin again, forget it–be proud of your experience–it’s made you who you are today.
