Porn and politics. Occasionally these two forces meet up and the result is usually phenomenal. Sometimes it’s hilarious. This is a little bit of both.

A group of stewardesses who started their careers about 20 years ago have made a calendar where they pose in their underwear in aviation-related scenes. Why are they doing this? To raise awareness about the sad state of pension systems in this country. They’ve been on the Today Show and have had articles written about them in the New York Times and the Washington Post. As their website says: “Presently we are facing the frightening probability that our guaranteed pension will be terminated. To all who believe that their pension is safe and secure, we hope our message gives you a wake-up call.”

Indeed. And what a fantastic way to raise awareness.
