Back to School At Babeland
I was in a pharmacy the other day getting some much needed headache medicine and I watched a family with two children buying school supplies. This was after the first day that school was back in session so I’m guessing the kids came home with a list of the things they would need and they all went shopping together.
Because there were two kids there was two of everything - two scissors, two things of tape, two boxes of crayons. It’s was like Noah’s Ark but without all of the gender roles.
Watching new school supplies being purchased got me all nostalgic for the return to school and I was wishing that I had something “back to school” related. Then I remembered Back to School night at Babeland.
Back to School night is a great way to get to know Babeland University - our workshop program - and to meet some of the teachers involved in that program. This year, we’re having this event in New York, L.A. and Seattle! Every Back to School night will have short and sweet versions of some of our favorite workshops so you can get a taste of what’s in store and get some good information while you’re at it. You can learn about butt plugs, the g-spot and vibrators within one evening. The best part? It’s free. Well actually, the best part is that there’s juice, cookies, and vibrator give-aways. But the free part is good too.
If you’ve been feeling that Back to School nostalgia like I have, then Back to School night is a great way to get your fix and get some great information. Study hard!

[...] I’m posting this because I thought it was such a great write up of one of the free back-to-school events we hosted at our stores this fall. Students got treated to several mini-lessons, delivered in real Babeland style. It was beautifully written by Audrey in Seattle. Last night’s Back To School night was SO MUCH FUN! It was really great to have practically our entire staff here working on making this such a successful night, teaching workshops, and helping the over 66 customers that came to attend all of our mini workshops. Almost everyone was on time and we had 61 students in the store with pencils in hand and ready to learn when we started exactly at 7:30 (tardiness will NOT be tolerated in MY classroom). [...]
