I’m always surprised when I see a mainstream news organization talking so candidly about sex. MSNBC has a new column called American Unzipped. Most of the time it’s a traveling report on sex in America. This week though, there is a short but sweet question and answer session on orgasm. For mainstream news, they do a very good job and talk at length about both the clitoris and the G-spot while encouraging women to experiment and try vibrators.

Now, if only Fox News could have the same report!

Maybe it’s the office pool, maybe it’s the tearful acceptance speeches but somehow I always wind up watching almost all of the Oscars. I don’t want to, but there I am waiting for “Best Picture” like it actually matters.

The AVNs (the Oscars of porn) are probably twice as long as the Oscars but I would watch them all the way through without a second thought if they weren’t two days long. The starlets, the outfits, the acceptance speeches… it’s all so much better when it’s about porn.

This some of my favorite people in the industry won award. Tristan Taormino won best gonzo for Chemistry (first time for a female director!) and Belladonna’s No Warning took home an award as well.
