Our Seattle store also held a fantastic night of mini-workshops during pride-week. There was so much to learn:

This is from our Sex Ed Summer School night that we did during Pride Week in Seattle. It was five mini workshops (Strap-On’s, Cunnilingus, G-Spot, Anal Sex and Fellatio) that we taught for free to about 40 students.

First up, We had Professor Causey showing us how to strap it on. We learned how to pick out a dick and a harness and techniques for strapping it on. There were even song titles as themes for what we learned here. Such as “Nothing but a G Thang” or a G or P Thang as Professor Causey explained that picking a curved dick can be perfect for hitting the G-spot or the P-spot. Or “Control” (by Janet Jackson – and yes Professor Causey did sing snippets of these songs), because when you strap it on baby, you are in Control.

Next up was Ms McManus, our favorite dyke gym teacher. She whipped us right into shape by explaining that the reproductive anatomy we learned in first period would get us nowhere if we didn’t learn to eat pussy correctly. She led us though the lay of the land of pleasure based anatomy and through some great strength building tongue exercises.

Miss Shannon, our very proper G-spot teacher, taught all about What the G-spot is, where it is and how to stimulate it. We learned all about toys that are great for G-spotting (Orchid G and the fabulous glass dildos) as well as PC muscle exercises and tips to be able to ejaculate.

Mr. Arbor, who was earlier involved in a teacher outing and doing laps with Ms McManus and still in gym clothes here, taught all about how to give great head. Mr. Arbor is a whiz at a rock star blow job and taught the class many handy techniques. He is aided here by Ashley his stunt cock.

We did a flirt night during pride week. We had tons of folks in the store, but you know, for confidentiality’s sake, I don’t want to be posting their photos on our website. Basically, for this event we set Babeland up as a fun space where you get to flirt with folks and just hang out. It’s not necessarily a “singles night”, but more of a chance to practice your flirting skills, and chat people up surrounded by sex toys – how suggestive! Not hard to flirt in that situation. We have some great DJ’s on our staff here in Seattle, including DJ’s Sweet Seduction and Status Apparatus, so we got to take advantage of them and had them turn Babeland into a dance party. Everyone who participated got a number that they wore on their shirt and if you wanted to flirt with someone and you were maybe too shy, you could leave them a message on our flirt board.

I participated in this party last year in our New York store and had so much fun! The flirt board allowed me to be more brave than I normally am and I had a great time finding cute people and looking for their numbers.
