Why I’m Thankful for Babeland
Happy Thanksgiving! Regardless of whether or not you celebrate this holiday (political implications of pilgrims vs. indigenous peoples or you don’t eat animals), it’s always nice to take some time to think about all of the thing you are thankful for.
Here’s why I’m thankful for Babeland
- Creating a positive space where everyone feels comfortable. If you’ve ever been in a store or spent any time on www.babeland.com, you’ll know what I mean.
- Providing non-judgmental information to everyone. We all need this, no matter how experienced we are.
- Having fun with sex! I love laughing at work
- Selling some truly awesome vibrators and and cockrings. People are always amazed when I tell them what the Lucky 7 or the Sonic Ring can do.
- Getting all of the newest dildos right away so I can hold them. So soft! So awesome!
- Having some of the sexiest harnesses around. Corsets! Silver stars!
- For my coworkers who teach me, challenge me, support me and entertain me all day long. I love all of you.

I am thankful that Babeland provides the best sex education as well as the hottest toys.

I have to agree with Dallas, that Babeland gives me many, many reasons to be thanksful. But my top reason would be my fabulous co-workers. I have never worked with smarter, more committed, fun folks who are so passionate about this company, it’s mission, and it’s customers. I’m honored to be in your ranks!

I am thankful to work at Babeland because I can be openly queer and have that be the “norm” which is not the always case in the rest of my life. I am also thankful that i can have such a positive impact on so many people’s lives. I mean, we are a retail store, anyone can walk in the door or email us to ask a sex or sexual health question and get helpful and nonjudgmental information. Coming to work makes me genuinely happy and it feels like i’m doing good in the world every single day - and for that, i am most definitely thankful.

I’m thankful every day for my co-workers and for the work we get to do, but today I am especially thankful for our customers. They’re so rad, I just love them. These days they have a lot of choices, but here they are chatting, shopping, laughing, getting what they need — they are the water that hold up our boat. Big love to the custies!!
