I walked into Babeland the other day and caught a flash of white as I walked by our displays. I looked over and found not one, not two, but FIVE new items, all dressed in a simple white. I wasn’t surprised to see that they were all from Jimmy Jane, a company known since day one for good design. They’ve really expanded their items in the past few months and I had a lot of fun playing with all of the new items!

Little Chroma: I never thought I would like such a skinny, simple vibrator but I bought one for a partner as a gift and found that its lovely rumble was the perfect compliment to some cunnilingus. Not too overpowering but just the right amount of kick. The motor on the toy works like the day I bought it but I know that when it wears out, Jimmy Jane will replace it for me which, frankly, is amazing.

Contour Massage Stones: If you ever walk into Babeland and you see someone holding the Hitachi Magic Wand or the Wahl 7-in-1 on their shoulders, that’s probably a Babeland employee. We stand all day and sometimes our backs hurt. Since we got the massage stones in I’ve been loosening my muscles up with the Hitachi and then working out the kinks with the stones. They’ve got a great weight and they’re easy to hold. Plus, they’re the sexiest massage items I’ve ever seen.

Afterglow Candle: Ah, soy wax candles. Babeland has these too and though the Mojito Peppermint will forever be my favorite, Jimmy Jane’s Fig Leaf is coming in at a close second. Babeland candles come with Babeland matches while the Jimmy Jane candles come with a brush… how to decide!

Beyond massage lotions: I’d like to try a massage lotion instead of a massage oil. I have a feeling I’d like it because I really like our massage bars. Plus, a warming massage lotion is just to intriguing to pass up.

Spin Me Spin the Bottle Game: I was a shy teenager when it came to kissing friends and aquaintences (hell, I still am..) so I never actually got around to playing a game of spin the bottle. I think I’d be up for it now but it never comes up at parties… maybe this would do it? I haven’t read the instructions but it’s certaintly the cutest bottle you could use

The Eleven has officially arrived. I’d looked at the picture of it on our website a million times, wondering what it would be like, feel like, look like. However, I was completely unprepared for the size. Reading about dimensions is one thing. Holding 2.5 lbs of stainless steel sex toy measuring two inches across at the widest point is quite another. I am in awe. This is one toy that you absolutely must come to Babeland to see. To help give you a sense of the size, that clutch purse that the Eleven is pictured next to is a regular size clutch purse… it also comes with the toy!

Since I’m saving all of my dough for the SaSi, I probably won’t be able to buy the Eleven for a little while, so in the meantime, enjoy this fantastic review from Always Aroused Girl at JanesGuide:

I presented it to my pal one night during play-time.  After he finished testing its weight (”Damn this is heavy,” quoth he) and marveling over its surface (”So shiny!”), he added some lube and came at me with it.  Because I was slightly terrified of the larger end — it’s 2? across — I had him start with the thinner end.  It was absolutely perfect.

See the ridges in the picture?  Wow.  So intense on the g-spot!  There was much writhing, much gushing, and oh very much screaming.  I didn’t expect such an explosive reaction from the ridges.

After enjoying excellent results with the smaller end, my friend flipped the toy over, lubed it up once again and slid it home.  I’d expected at least some degree of discomfort from this end — it’s 2? across! — but had none at all.  The stainless steel is so very smooth that with proper preparation and lots of lube, it worked great for me.

My friend found that the groves provided an excellent hand-grip when he was using the larger end on me.  When he switched back to my preferred smaller end, things got a little slippery for him, but it wasn’t anything that a quick wipe-down with a washcloth couldn’t handle.

The SaSi vibrators are flying off of the shelves at Babeland. I’m buying mine on Sunday and I promise a full review as soon as I get a chance to take it for a test drive! Em & Lo at the Daily Bedpost seem excited about it too. I especially love that their comment about price. In a world where people will spend over $150 for a pair of shoes or jeans or bedding, why do we always expect our pleasure to come so cheaply?
