Touring Vixen’s Dildo Factory

Nestled on a San Francisco hillside, sits Vixen Creations‘ factory. Vixen Creations is a woman-owned silicone toy manufacturer famous for producing hand crafted silicone sex toys of the highest quality.

With roughly 10 employees who oversee sculpting molds,  pouring, finishing, and shipping, Vixen Creations has a laid back atmosphere where Roxette blasts from the speakers.

“We’ve got a log of new designs people are going to be pretty excited about,” said Gina Dominguez, Vixen’s Vice President, as we walked to the table of new design molds.

Near by is a line of ice cream buckets filled with liquid silicone, each a different color.  Silicone is an excellent sex toy material because it comes in a wide assortment of bright colors, can be boiled between uses to insure sanitation, warms quickly without getting hot, and is fantastic at transmitting vibrations. Vixen Creations’ silicone has earned a loyal following among customers for being of the very highest quality.

At another table, employees poured the liquid into various molds. The silicone usually takes a night to harden in the mold. VixSkin dildos are made in a slightly different process.

Once out of the molds, employees carefully cut away the excess silicone of the mold’s seams from the products.

While trimming the seams, they carefully inspect each product for the slightest imperfection such as bubbles or discolorations. Products with

these imperfections are either thrown away or cut up into small pieces and used as filler in the molds.

Once the products are finished, they’re packaged and shipped to Babeland.  We’re proud to carry Vixen Creation products and hope you give them try this Valentine’s Day season.
