Burlesque 101 SUNDAY!
Wednesday, July 8th, 2009If you are a Babeland Blog follower you know I’m a burlesque performer, and I’m delighted to tell you about the upcoming Burlesque 101 workshop! The workshop is this Sunday July 12 at 8pm at our Soho store(43 Mercer Street!)
I’ve been at Babeland for almost 5 years and it’s been a joy to integrate my burlesque skills with Babeland’s sex positive approach to sexuality! I aim to create a comfortable environment for women to learn Burlesque moves, so I hope to see you on Sunday, because this class only happens at Babeland every once in a while! We’ve got boas, pasties and gloves from the New York School of Burlesque (where I also teach!) This class is going to be a blast!
Burlesque 101
Sunday, July 12, 08:00PM, $35
Learn sexy burlesque moves including bumps, grinds, shimmies, and chair dancing, along with hip, shoulder, and other body isolations taught by New York City star burlesque performer (and Babeland Sex Educator!) Darlinda Just Darlinda. No prior experience is necessary and nudity is not required. Be sure to wear comfortable clothing and shoes that you can dance in. Feather boas, gloves and pasties will be provided courtesy of the New York School of Burlesque. This is a class for women only.
