Talk about sex toys going mainstream… Babeland is mentioned in the upcoming Time Magazine! In an article about the sex in an eco-friendly world, Time had this to say:

“As the green movement makes its way into the bedroom, low lighting is a must–to conserve electricity–but so are vegan condoms, organic lubricants and hand-cranked vibrators…Babeland, a sex shop with locations in Seattle and New York City, saw sales of a stainless-steel toy triple from 2007 to 2008. Sales of glass models rose 85% in the same period.”

“A stainless-steel toy”… could that be the Pure Wand? I bet it is… I can only hope we’ll see a rush of Time Magazine readers who will newly discover the joys of shopping at Babeland and helping to save the planet while they’re at it.
