Your Vulva on a Necklace

Wednesday, October 21st, 2009

Between traditional pornography and plastic surgery, it’s pretty easy to get the idea that all vulvas should look alike. We spend a fair amount of time at Babeland debunking that myth and helping people see that all vulvas, no matter their size or shape, are beautiful. Now, an amazing artist on Etsy has discovered a way to spread that message.

Etsy user VulvaLoveLovely makes a variety of items using vulva imagery. However, the necklaces are hands down my favorite. Why? They’re based on a photograph that you send of your very own vulva.  Just look at all of those gorgeous vulvas!

Here are the details if you want to order your own:

Babeland on an episode of Christ’d

Friday, October 16th, 2009

Two New York comedians have a comedy show that’s a take-off of Punk’d. In their latest episode they got super creative and came to the Brooklyn Babeland! I especially like the part with the Rabbit.
