In Ask Babeland, real Babeland Sex Educators provide real answers to real questions that they received from customers during their shifts. If one customer has this question, chances are others do too so we’re bringing them to you!
Q: My friend tried a vibrator that was too intense for her, which one was that?
A: While we definitely have some vibrators that are really intense, in the end, everyone’s bodies are different so your friend may have found a vibrator to be too intense that many people might describe as not intense at all.
Additionally, your body is different from your friends, so you could actually love the exact vibration that she found to be too much. That’s why we try to give descriptions of the vibration, and in our stores, let you hold the toys so you can get a sense for how they feel.
If you’re not sure what intensity level you’d like, I recommend picking a toy that has a wide range of intensities, that way you can play around with them and figure out what is right for you. You may even find that over one session with the vibrator, you want different intensities.
I recommend the Gigi, the Blueberry Buzz or the Laya Spot. If you want to stay away from too intense, then don’t get the Hitachi or the Water Shimmer right now – they really pack a punch!
I recently realized that we haven’t talked nearly enough about anal sex on the blog recently – sorry about that! Sometimes I guess we just go through phases. But, just because we’re not talking about it, doesn’t mean that people aren’t asking about it, learning about it and doing it.
We love anal play at Babeland for so many reasons. First, the ass is the universal orifice – everyone has one and they respond it similar ways. No matter what you and your partner’s bodies are like, you can both feel this sensation.
Second, anal play can add a whole new world of sensation into what may be a sexual routine – be that solo or partner sex. Adding just a little outside stimulation can change, strengthen or lengthen an orgasm.
Third, anal play can help remind us of things that can sometimes be easy to forget during other sexual adventures:
If you’ve been thinking about trying anal play, I recommend doing one or more of the following things:
