Love that Prostate, Part 1

Wednesday, April 28th, 2010

I was training some new Babeland hires last night, telling them everything they’ll need to know to help customers interested in anal play. Eventually we worked our way around to the prostate and as I was talking about it, I realized that I haven’t blogged about the prostate, one of my favorite topics, in a really long time!

Why is the prostate a favorite of mine? Over the years I’ve worked at Babeland I’ve helped thousands of women on their journey towards new and exciting kinds of sexual stimulation. Some women were at the very beginning of that journey, some were in the middle and some where well on their way, but they all had something in common: they knew there was a journey to go on.

For a lot of guys, the journey doesn’t exist. Or it does, but once they have penetrative sex, it’s over, destination reached, unpack your bags and move in for the long haul. That’s not to say that penetrative sex of any kind doesn’t feel fantastic, but it’s not all that’s out there.

Anal play and the prostate are a whole new journey – of new stimulation, new sensations, new toys and yes, new orgasms. For those willing to pack up and go exploring, the ass/prostate is a great adventure.

If you know someone or you are someone who might be interested, here are some great places to start and stay tuned for more:

She Comes First in Seattle

Tuesday, April 27th, 2010

This Sunday in the Seattle store we are teaching She Comes First, a class that was developed with Ian Kerner, the author of the book She Comes First: The Thinking Man’s Guide to Pleasuring a Woman.  While the book is clearly directed at men in particular, our class is open to anyone and everyone who is interested in learning more about pleasing women sexually and female sexual anatomy.  This class, like the book, will cover pleasure based anatomy to make sure everyone is on the same page (do you know a lot of women don’t even know where their own clitoris is?).  We will also detail the cycle of female sexual response, mood setting, whole body sensuality, and cunnilingus techniques as recommended by Kener and Babeland.  You will also leave with how-to’s on our favorite finger techniques, toys for couples and great positions especially for her pleasure!

People often call the store asking if they can, or should attend as a couple or on their own.  Most of our classes are attended by a mix of people on their own, groups of friends or couples together. This class is just the same.  If you are interested in attending, please call the Seattle store to register.

I am thrilled to announce a brand new Babeland blog featuring the moms of Babeland! There are quite a few of them they’ve spent a lot of time learning and thinking about sex, love, parenting, sex toys and so much more. If you’re a mom, or know a mom or want to some day be a mom, you should read this blog.
