The Snakebite Kit: Unsung Hero of Sensation Play

August 21st, 2008 by Dallas

snakebiteThe name of the game for a lot of sex toys these days is discreetness. As more and more people own sex toys, there are more and more people from whom to hide them: kids, roommates, parents, etc. Nothing fools people more than the snakebite kit.

Imagine that you are hiking in Yellowstone and you get bit by a rattlesnake. We’ve all heard that it’s possible to suck venom out of a bite but say that you’re hiking alone and you don’t have a friend that can help you (or your friend is scared of cooties). Simply open the snakebite kit , find the appropriate size, squeeze and put over the bite. Like a good hikey, the suction in the cup will pull out the venom. It’s easy, small and needs no electricity or fancy tools.

Now imagine that you’re hiking (or anywhere, really) and you want to have some extra sensation in your nipples or clitoris. Simply follow the directions above, squeezing the snakebite kit and placing it where you want the extra sensation to be. Once it’s there, you can tap on it for extra sensation, or just leave it there for a few minutes and let it do its magic. When you take it off, the suction action will have brought a lot of blood the surface of the skin, possibly enlarging the nipples or clitoris and definitely increasing the sensitivity. They work like nipple clamps but instead of a pinching sensation, it’s suction which I like a lot better.

I really love my snakebite kit - it’s so easy to use and can travel with me anywhere I go without raising any eyebrows. If anyone asks, I just say that I’m deathly afraid of snakes.

You can pick up a snakebite kit at any camping/outdoors store, or you can go to any Babeland location and grab one there.

L’hommage à la SaSi

August 20th, 2008 by Jennifer

So excited were we by our new arrival, that my co-Babes commissioned me to create an homage to the SaSi. Ever willing to please, I took pencil to paper; then pencil to light box; then x-acto knife to construction paper. When all was said and done, I was pleased with the results (my co-Babes perhaps more so) and patted myself on the back for a tribute well done. Imagine my surprise when I discovered that a whopping twenty-one (!) SaSis had flown from our shelves a mere week after its arrival… and even more, when I saw that my lady and her SaSi had been duplicated (and triplicated!) and hung in our storefront window for all to enjoy. Here’s to the SaSi, and the orgasms its rockin’ with twenty-one lusty Seattleites.

UK Sex Toy Awards

August 20th, 2008 by Dallas

delightLoveHoney, the UK’s premier sex toy retailer, has just announced their winners for their favorite sex toys. What’s cool about this is that they picked 20 women to try out toys that came out this year and rate them. Twenty actual possible customers giving honest feedback. So, what did they think?

Overall: Delight was #1!!  I can’t say I’m surprised. This toy delivers it all - internal and external vibration, variable speed and pulsing options and a durable material. I love it.

Best for Orgasms: The Rabbit Habbit. Again, predictable but good to see it on this list - even with all of the new toys out there, the Rabbit is still pleasing people.

Best for Value: The testers picked a toy available only the UK but the Onye is similar. It’s a nice medium size with a great range of vibration.

Best for Couples: A finger vibe! Love it. Again, a UK version but if you’re looking to spice up your finger, you have plenty of options from the Fukuoku to the Chandra to the Finger Fun to the Fantasy Fingers. We also carry the Trojan version of the Durex vibe that one.
Thanks to the Daily Bedpost for catching this one. I couldn’t resist posting about it too!
